What this website collects
This launch version has no account, signup form, advertising, tracking pixel, or analytics script. Skana does not ask you to submit personal information on this website.
Like most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time. Skana does not use that information to build visitor profiles.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not use browser storage to track visitors.
Third parties
The site is intended to be hosted by Netlify. Netlify processes technical request data as the hosting provider.
The mobile app
Skana is built around an offline-capable automatic log. Some explicit features may need network services—for example marine conditions, warning notifications, a requested journey-summary draft, or future backup. The app policy will name what leaves the device, why, where it goes, how long it is kept, and how it can be deleted. The website will not repeat the retired absolute claim that nothing can ever leave the phone.

This page will be updated before any signup form, analytics service, public app, or account system is introduced.
